That the Nintendo Switch is one of the most successful handheld consoles ever we have no doubt at this point. So much so that we do not stop seeing new models of it; the Switch Lite has been around for a while now and the OLED Switch is on the way down.
But as the latter goes on the market, and precisely because of the imminence of said launch, the original Nintendo Switch has dropped in price. And it has done so much that at the moment we can get it for only 279.99 euros on Amazon; its all-time low and an excellent opportunity to take it home with us.
Once the OLED Switch hits stores, the original console will lose prominence. And if they have close prices, much more. But at these almost 280 euros, the Nintendo Switch is a real bargain and one of the smartest purchases we can make if we want to fully enjoy such acclaimed titles as Zelda: Breath of the Wild or Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
Nintendo Switch – Standard Console, Neon Blue / Neon Red (2019 Model)
The Nintendo Switch is a great choice whether we want to always take it with us to play a game in those dead moments when we don’t really know what to do (at the bus stop, for example), or to play on our television; in portable mode it promises an autonomy of up to 9 hours (depending on the game).
The console features a 6.2-inch touchscreen with 1,280 x 720p resolution, an NVIDIA Tegra processor and 32 GB internal memory that we can (and should) easily expand using an SD card. To which must be added the Bluetooth 4.1 connectivity, a USB Type-C port and a charging time of around 3 hours.
