It may seem quite strange, but A couple of days ago, a product for which Ikea and Spotify could be joining forces leaked into the FCC, the American rating agency.. The product in question is a speaker-lamp with bluetooth, called Vappeby, which has a certification IP65, which means that will be resistant to dust and water, especially if they are low pressure jets.
Among the characteristics of this speaker-lamp mushroom shaped, we met with One built-in 20 lumens (2700K) bulb to double as a portable lamp. Also, this small speaker, ideal for outdoors (or so it seems), has a USB Type-C port to charge the device and a battery that is capable of lasting 13 hours when gloss and volume are maintained at 50%.
But, surely, the interesting thing starts here, since this speaker has a Spotify Tap button, a novelty that will allow you to resume what you were listening to from where you last left off, or click the button again to have a different recommendation and adapted to your tastes. Spotify Tap is now available on headphones from Samsung, Microsoft, Jabra and others more, now it seems that It will also come to the Ikea loudspeakers-lamp.
Finally, and before finishing, it is worth mentioning that This Vappeby speaker-lamp does not belong to the Ikea and Sonos Symfonisk range. This Vappeby will be part of the other bluetooth speakers that belong to Ikea. For the moment, the price is unknown what could I have and there is also no detail that points to its release date. Even so, we will try to be attentive to possible announcements by the Swedish company.
