In recent days, the arbitration decisions that were made in the Opening Tournament made talking about the performance of the teams go to the background. With Lima Alliance and University of Sports as main protagonists, was Augustine Lozano the one in charge of publicizing his position on the events that have put Liga 1 under the watchful eye of all.

“I don’t want to speculate, or accuse anyone, but if there is a referee whose decisions probably go far beyond his honesty, I think he has to be definitely separated”said the president of the FPF in dialogue with Panamericana

Augustine Lozano He is aware that one of the factors that astonished him the most was being recognized for good performances by national judges in international tournaments and that his performances were totally modified in League 1.

“The referees have a lot of support from the Peruvian Football Federation and I cannot help but admit that if it comes to my attention that our referees at the Copa Libertadores and Copa Sudamericana level are doing very well, but they are very wrong in the local tournament”added the highest representative of Peruvian soccer.

Augustine Lozano knows that measures will have to be taken to correct the bad performances of the national referees, who have been accumulating days for oblivion, causing the discomfort of several teams that make up the First Division of Peruvian soccer.

“It remains to penalize or better prepare the referees who have made an involuntary mistake, although there were some plays in which errors of this magnitude cannot be allowed”ended.
