It has given the surprise. The new Mercedes CLE Coupé 2023 has appeared by surprise in an interesting spy video around the technical center of the star brand in Sindelfingen. An interesting graphic document in which we not only see its design, but that it is in a more advanced state of development than the convertible.
Those who doubted the existence of the Mercedes CLE Coupe 2023, there you have it. The star brand has released a prototype of the new model that merges the Class C Coupé and Class E Coupéan outing that has had a great consequence: it has been caught in an interesting video in the vicinity of the Sindelfingen headquarters, where most of the prototypes of the new models are baked, on the way to one of the usual routes of tests.
An interesting video because it shows the new two-door sports model in an advanced state of development, much more than that of the CLE Cabrio. For more than a year and a half, the replacement for the C-Class Cabrio and E-Class Cabrio was the only one that had been seen in different scenarios, and without definitive production elements such as the headlights or the light groups, and always very masked. Mercedes has waited a long time, to have the new convertible very advanced for the coupé to enter the fray, so in the coming weeks it will fall on the networks of the spy photos.

Two units are the ones that have fallen, both practically close to production, something that is not difficult to miss when the deadlines are getting shorter and shorter. In both prototypes, the vinyl wraps the bodywork, but the so fine and sharp shape of the headlights with a thin bead of LEDs running along the top edge for daylight, just like the shape of the radiator grille, with the star in the center.
The new CLE Coupé also reveals generous proportions, with a long hood and a stylized silhouette that ends in a rear, with fine pilots that advance a new signature. A very seductive style to conquer the most demanding customers, which will be reinforced with the avant-garde interior of the latest new models of the German brand, and which we will also see in the new Mercedes E-Class.
The commercial landing of this model, the only one in the range with two doors with the permission of the also new AMG GT Coupé, is prepared for the end of spring 2023, putting for sale in the second half of next year. Both will have 48 Volt MHEV gasoline and diesel engines, in-line four and six cylinders with 9-speed automatic gearbox and all-wheel drive in the most powerful. The range will also have an AMG option, although plug-in hybrid versions are not planned on this model, nor are they available on the 4 Series.
