From Human Protocol they expect an integration with CVAT (Computer Vision Annotation Tool). This was reported from the official Human blog.
CVAT is a free and open source annotation tool, used by hundreds of companies and tens of thousands of users.
As explained in the aforementioned blog, CVAT’s core team previously worked at Intel, joining OpenCV.ai to continue and expand development. Starting this week, CVAT is relaunching its website and hosted version of the open source tool, with plans for exclusive features in the future.
From Human they have previously provided details about the CVAT work that is available in their protocol. “We are delighted to see that the CVAT team has made great progress in developing their application; We continue to work closely with the CVAT team as we try to bring this work to HUMAN.”
Note that CVAT is a plugin for the CAPTCHA tool that currently runs on the HUMAN Protocol, a data labeling application that can produce granular and accurate data sets.
Its integration is now expected to expand the work capabilities available through the Protocol.
What is Human Protocol?
The HUMAN Protocol is a system designed to facilitate the automation, tokenization, evaluation and payment of work. “In this sense, it is a system to unlock the future of knowledge workers. It is widely applicable to many types of work, with a preliminary focus on data labeling.
“The recently announced Routing Protocol will function as a coordination layer. It will lay out an outline for voting, staking, slicing, and how, in general, third-party entities can be coordinated to help contribute to the workflow, such as sorting images before they are sent to a CAPTCHA worker. or CVAT”, they added later.
