In the face of digitization, banking services have been gaining more ground around the world, where now it could be done only by going to a branch, it can be done with a click.
According to data from Statista, in Mexico, the financial institution with the highest percentage of digital banking users in 2021 was BBVA Groupwith a total of 18 percent of the audience. Citibanamex, Banco Azteca and Santander They were all followed with more than 7 percent of the online financial services audience.
HSBC announces maintenance on its servers
The HSBC bank announced this Friday that it will carry out maintenance on its servers, so it will not be possible to use ATMs or use cards for purchases on the Internet.
This announcement comes after several users denounced on social networks the problems and failures they were having when wanting to use their platforms or services. Some point out that they have encountered error messages.

Faced with these errors, the bank responded that the error message that appears on the screens of the HSBC Mexico mobile application, Total control, is due to the fact that it is under maintenance.
Likewise, the banking firm indicated that this Sunday, June 12, 2022, maintenance work will be carried out, Therefore, from 1:30 a.m. to 4:30 a.m., you will not be able to use ATMs, cards in stores or online purchases.
“During this short period you will not be able to use HSBC ATMs or make purchases in stores or online with your HSBC Debit card. We recommend you plan your withdrawals and make them before these times,” HSBC told its customers.
HSBC is not the only bank in Mexico that has presented failures in some of its services, since brands such as BBVA Mexico frequently report such failures by its users on social networks, the most recent being on April 1, failure which was confirmed by the brand through its Twitter account.
