Windows is one of the most used software worldwide. This operating system is available in many versions, but generally they all work in a similar way.
When installing applications or programs on the computer, Windows guides you to complete and follow all the steps, but what happens when you want to uninstall a program?
Uninstall Windows 11 programs
There are different ways to remove applications and programs. Also, the steps to follow depend on the Windows operating system you have on your computer.
For example, if you have Windows 11, you must go to the Start menu, and select the All applications option. Find the app you want and hold it. Then select Uninstall.
Another way to uninstall an app or program is by opening Start, then Settings, then Apps and Apps & Features. Find the app you want to remove, select More, then click Uninstall.
It is important to note that some apps cannot be uninstalled from the Settings app. For help uninstalling these applications, follow the uninstall instructions in Control Panel.
How to remove an application from the Control Panel?
The first step is to open the Control Panel. Then go to Programs and Programs and Features. Press and hold the program you want to uninstall (click it) and select the option that says Uninstall (also listed as Uninstall/Change). Then Windows will guide you with the steps and directions you have to follow to remove the application or program.
You should be very careful, and you should also pay attention when uninstalling an application or a program, as it can happen that you will get uninstall problems, and this will lead you to use the Windows Troubleshooter to continue.
