Being part of the Artemis I mission of the POT, which will mark the path for astronauts to return to the Moon, is a matter of scientists. However, from Earth, your wishes can appear on the iPad installed in the Orion spacecraft that is orbiting our natural satellite.
According to a report published on the website of computer today that the US space agency launched the project Callistowhich has the objective of checking the human-machine interfaces in space and allows collaboration by sending messages to the ship, which will be seen through the Apple device.
Curiously, Artemis I does not have a human crew, but it does have the iPad with this technology that NASA offers the public to send a message while the capsule orbits the Moon.
How to send a video message to the Artemis I mission iPad
Via the project website or from the Explore Orion app (app store, Play Store), you can send your own message to appear on the iPad in the space capsule.
Lockheed Martin, director of Callisto, explained that not all messages will be selected: “Messages with derogatory, defamatory, racist, sexist or otherwise inappropriate content, or those that include material protected by copyright or that support people, products, brands, etc. will be rejected.”.
The message It can be up to 120 characters, as well as your name and email. If selected, your message and name will be displayed inside the Orion spacecraft during this Artemis I mission.

In May 2024, the Artemis II mission will fly close to the satellite without landing, while Artemis III, to take place “not before 2025”, will be the final landing.
