It happens that when we go on a diet, it seems that our body is more against us, the anxiety to want to eat something fried, sweet or fluffy dominates us terribly, but we can not give up!
This happens because the consumption of carbohydrates generates endorphins for the brain, which causes an addiction that constantly betrays us.
The anxiety that we feel, up to a point is normal, because when we are tempted to eat something and we have to calm down, we feel despair and it is best to think about whether our hunger is physical or emotional.
There are many elements that can help us reflect and here we share them:
- Exercise: any physical activity, however simple it may seem, begins to produce a large number of biochemical substances, which counteract the negative effects of anxiety and stress, such as walking the dog, walking, jogging, running in the park, riding a bicycle, 20 minutes is the significant difference!
- Eating high fiber foods : Whole grain foods like whole grains and Greek yogurt keep insulin levels stable and therefore control hunger.
- Have a tea: Chamomile supplements decrease symptoms of stress and anxiety, a tea or chamomile infusion 2 or 3 times a day will make a difference. Don’t give up your good eating habits on impulse for a moment and stick to your balanced diet.
