The Call of Duty: Warzone gaming community has a number of surprises that have recently been added to the popular battle royale title, although it also has a number of bugs and one seemingly appears out of nowhere at the worst time.
One thing we find quite curious is that while sometimes these issues are caused by the game servers being temporarily down, most of the time it requires the player to find a solution. One of the most common Warzone bugs going around right now involves a pop-up saying “content pack is no longer available”.
This usually means that one of the game files has become corrupted and is preventing Warzone from launching. Fortunately, there are a number of steps you can take to fix this issue and we’ll walk you through it below. The “content pack is no longer available” error can often affect players while they are in the lobby, kicking them out of the game.
In this case, it usually means that the developers have implemented a small patch for Warzone that you need to install. While returning to your client or home screen should usually trigger this automatically, sometimes you may need to manually check for updates in the console:
- Navigate to your dashboard or home screen
- Go to your game library
- Tap on Warzone and select ‘Check for Updates’
- The system should identify the patch and add the necessary files
If this doesn’t fix your problem, it may be time to completely reinstall Warzone and download the game again. This will ensure the damaged files are repaired and prevent the error from reoccurring. Don’t forget, if your issue persists and you’re out of options, consider submitting a ticket to Activision Support so you can get direct help with your issue.
