Burnout more than a trend
Burnout has become a trend both on social networks and in daily conversations at work. These surveys, in addition to showing burnout indicators in Mexico and the region, also complement the x-ray of labor perception, adding the concept of quiet quitting or silent resignation.
The questions asked were aimed at detecting how often the employee was experiencing sensations or emotions that could be related to work stress. For example, a feeling of anguish before going to work, overwhelmed or exhausted with the work team, among others.
Based on these answers and in addition to interviews with experts in mental health and occupational well-being, some of the most notable findings of the report are the following:

- 5% of people over the age of 50 have symptoms of burnout.
- Young people are more susceptible to experiencing occupational burnout.
About work enthusiasm:
- Job burnout is more common in men than in women.
- 67% of survey participants feel emotionally exhausted because of work.
- 42% of people under 30 (GenZ) show less work enthusiasm
About Quiet Quitting:
- 37% of survey participants are not enthusiastic about their work.
- 18% indicate that in their work they do the minimum necessary for the salary they receive.
