There are many health professionals who have joined the trend of using a medical digital agenda in their office. Google Calendar is one of the most widely used tools, so if you want to know how to set up an agenda with this most famous search engine tool, then we are going to offer you everything you need to know so that you can take it into account.
So you can create appointments with Google Calendar
There are several steps you have to follow when creating appointments with Google Calendar. They are simple and we are going to list them below:
- Open Google Calendar on your computer.
- In the upper left corner, click Create +.
- Click on Appointment Schedule.
- Enter a title (it will be visible to everyone who links to your booking page and the title will appear on your calendar’s agendas and bookings).
- Define the duration of the appointments (if you want it to be personalized, click the down arrow next to “30 minutes” and appointments must last at least 15 minutes).
- Define the date and time of your appointments.
- If you want to set how far in advance appointments can be booked, click the down arrow next to “Appointment Deadline”.
- Click next.
- Optionally, you can change your photo, define where the meeting will take place and much more.
- After you have edited your schedule, you can click Save.
Synchronize your appointment schedule with your calendar
The appointment schedule is automatically synchronized with Google Calendar. You have to take into account the following:
- Both your appointment schedule and booked appointments automatically appear on the calendar.
- In Google Calendar, you cannot schedule more than one event at the same time. When you answer “Yes” or “Maybe” to an event in Google Calendar, that time slot will not appear as available on your booking page.
- For selected parent and child calendars, the booking page availability is automatically updated to avoid conflicts with other events.
