Although a few years ago it was difficult to imagine that Siri, Alexa or Google Assistant had different voices, today this is a reality. For a long time the 3 companies behind the most popular virtual assistants have made efforts to add more genderless voices so that each user uses the one they like the most.
In the case of Alexa, there are even compatible celebrity voices, however, the default voices for this assistant, as well as that of celebrities, is only available in some countries, and Mexico is not one of them.
On the other hand, Siri and Google Assistant do allow you to change your voice in Mexico and other Latin American countries. Here we teach you how to do it:
Google Assistant on Android
- Open Google Assistant on your phone.
- Click on your profile photo in the upper right.
- Scroll down and click on the option “Assistant’s voice”.
- Choose one of the 3 available options that differ by color.
- The voice option you choose will be changed on supported devices where you signed in with your account.
This option is only available on Android, on iOS it is not possible to change the voice.
Siri on iYOU
- Open the Settings.
- Look for the option “Siri and Search.”
- Scroll down to the “Voice” option.
