Adamo offers you fiber optic Internet access through two speeds to choose from: 300Mbps and 1000 Mbps. In the first case, the service is symmetric, the same download speed as upload, in the second case we can contract the 1000 Mbps download and 600 Mbps upload or symmetric speed at a higher price.
In the landline From Adamo, the hiring possibilities include a bonus of 400 minutes per month for € 2.70 / month or the unlimited calls bonus for € 7.70 per month. Service mobile phone In all cases, it includes unlimited calls (always taking into account what is considered reasonable use) and we can choose between different gig bonuses.
What you should keep in mind
Within the Adamo services there are some particularities or limitations. Rate changes they have no cost or limitation, but if it is advisable to take some things into account.
Offers
If we want to adhere to any Adamo special offer (It is important to check that it is valid for existing clients and not only for new clients) or if we simply want to see if there are offers for us that prevent the change or if we want to reduce the amount of the invoice, it is advisable to call the service of Customer service and consult it in the commercial department.
In this way we can enjoy rates or bonuses at a reduced price and perhaps let’s avoid having to make the change on services and pay more on bills.
Coverage
If we intend to make modifications to your fiber optic service, in the event that we want to increase the speed it is advisable to use the search engine that Adamo makes available to us on the web. If we go to the Fiber only section and click on Set your rate the pop-up window will open with the Coverage finder.
So we can see the speed that we can install in a specific address. In fact, there are many municipalities in which the upload speed is less than 300 Mbps of the most economical. This reduction is for technical reasons only.
Mobile data
In the case of wanting to modify the gigas bonus for mobile data we must also bear in mind that, in the case of specific cases, once the monthly bonus is exhausted, we can contract an additional one of 1 GB for € 5. Even if we do not contract extra bonuses we will not lose the connection, we will continue surfing the Internet at 16 Kbps.
It is a really reduced speed that for some services is insufficient, yes. The line may be saturated or the application you are using may need a higher bandwidth so that connection is not established not even at those 16 Kbps.
Requirements and deadlines
The main requirement to request a rate change is that you do so the owner of the line listed in the Adamo database. In fact, you will have to identify yourself with your personal or bank details in order to manage the modification.
Permanence
If when we register we have contracted the services with a special offer, or we have received some type of benefit in exchange for committing ourselves to remain with the company for a certain period of time, it may be that some type of penalty is applied to us.
This could only happen in the event that we make a change to a cheaper service, in that case it would be understood that we are fulfilling our commitment and a penalty equivalent to the proportional part of the remaining period on the amount marked in the registration contract that we have signed. If the rate change is to a higher one, we would not have any problem regarding the permanence contract.
Activation period
Rate changes do not need more than activation from the Adamo technical service. No need to make a change to home equipment for fiber optic speed modifications, so the modification will be active the same day that we request it.
In the case of mobile lines, the same thing happens, since we do not have to wait to receive a SIM card in the mail as in the case of a new registration, the modifications will be active at the moment. In the invoice we will be priced the proportional part of each tariff during the billing cycle.
Change rate
To modify any of the rates of the contracted services or make modifications of that nature we will have to contact the service of Adamo Customer Service or through the client area of the web.
By phone
We have to call the toll free number 900651464 and choose in the phrase “We are Adamo customers”. In this way we will contact Adamo Customer Service and request the change. The telemarketer will ask us for some personal or banking information to verify our identity.
The disadvantage of this form of contact is that it will touch us wait a few minutes until one of the telemarketers can assist us.
In the Client area
It is the fastest way for this type of change in Adamo. We just have to connect us and select the rate that interests us the most. It has the advantage of not having to wait and being able to manage it ourselves. To access the client area it is necessary to request a username and password at Customer Service (900 651 464). At the moment it is not possible to do this management through the mobile application since it is not yet available.
The downside, as we have said above, is that you will not have the option to take advantage of the offers that Adamo has active at that time. For this you should call the commercial department (900 651 464, free call).
