If the customization layer that comes installed in our Xiaomi phones stands out for something, it is because of the high customization capacity that it presents. In this case, by default MIUI includes its own icons in the system notification bar but, Did you know that these could be changed by Google icons?
Icons in native Android feature a monochrome look that is completely customized by Xiaomi, but there is a little trick thanks to which you will be able to change the appearance of these and that we will explain below.
How to exchange MIUI icons for Google icons on your Xiaomi phone
If you pay attention to the top bar of your phone, you will find two well differentiated parts: one dedicated to the connectivity and battery of your device, and another where we can find the incoming notifications section in the form of icons.
The latter is presented with colored icons that show us the different installed applications that have received notifications but, in case you want to customize them and keep their design as we can find in Android Stock, the procedure will be very simple.
To do this, only You have to access the settings of your Xiaomi phone and follow these steps:
- Access the settings of your Xiaomi phone
- Click on the section “Notifications and control center”
- Access the “Notification Bar” option
- Select the style of “Android” to change the icons
