To be able to do it, all you have to do is follow the following tutorial explaining what you need to know.
When you are reading a book, you may find that at the bottom of a page are notes about something, in particular, that is being discussed on the page.
These notes are known as footnotes, and they serve several things, among which clarifications can be made about the text or speak/list any original reference that one has of it.
Notes footnotes are something that can be found in piles of documents, both academic books, novels, and even spreadsheets.
With an excellent resource when you need to comment on something in particular on the page you are or to give a better general format to the page in terms of presentation.
For this reason, it should not be surprising that the use of footnotes can also be used within what are slide shows since it helps the author to put all kinds of citations or references about what is being talked about. during the presentation without having to fill the slide with too much text.
Adding footnotes to your PowerPoint slide
Putting footnotes on your slides through PowerPoint is quite simple since you only have to place yourself in the place where you want the footer to go. Once the text cursor is in this place, you can put the symbol of your preference, although it is recommended that you put a number, such as 1.
Once you have put the aforementioned number, you must click on the top menu of “Insert” and then enter the option “Header and footer”.
Now, you will be able to see that you are in the slide tab, so scroll down to the “Footer” box and activate it, and then put the number 1 or the symbol that you put previously followed by text.
This text will be the footer as such, so think about seeing what you are going to put before clicking “Apply” if you want it to apply to only that slide where you are or “Apply to all” if you want the changes are applied to all slides.
