Follow these tips to set your biological clock.
QUESTION
In a little while I start working and I will have to wake up my baby, five months, an hour and a half before, to leave him with my mother. How do I change the schedule without harming you?
ANSWER
Gradually change your schedule
Each person has their own biological clock, that is, we all have a few hours with a greater tendency to fall asleep or wake up. During the first months of life this watch largely determines sleep and therefore external habits are scarce. So modifying baby’s schedules can be quite difficult. If you want to get it up at a specific time, you must be constant and patient.
Once you have set the time you are going to wake him up, and taking into account the hours he currently sleeps, put all the activities of the day forward by ten minutes (food, bath, walk, time to get up and go to bed). When he adjusts, he advances them ten minutes again. And so, little by little, until you do not need to go any further, because the little one will go to bed at an hour when he can get enough sleep.
