One of the most loved sections of all God of War 2018, was the freedom the game gave us to explore six of the nine realms of Yggdrasil. Now, with the sequel just a few months away, many hope that ragnarok give us the opportunity to visit more locations. Fortunately, it looks like this will be the case.
Alongside the regular version of the game, various collector’s editions will also be for sale. One of these is the Jötnar Edition, which includes a map of Yggdrasil. Here we have a good look at the nine kingdoms, including Asgard, Vanaheim and Svartalfheimlocations to which we did not have access in God of War.
As if that were not enough, during the special editions unboxing video, it was mentioned that developers are “excited for fans to explore all realms”. In this way, it seems that we will be able to visit the nine kingdoms of Yggdrasil in one way or another in god of war ragnarok.
However, it will be better to keep expectations at a normal level. Yes ok God of War gave us the opportunity to explore various locations, not all had a weight in history. Kingdoms like Muspelheim and Niflheim simply offer challenges to obtain some kind of special equipment. In this way, it is not ruled out that the same thing happens in ragnarok.

Editor’s note:
It is clear that god of war ragnarok It will be a gigantic game. One of the best changes that the 2018 title presented us with was that the exploration had a greater weight, achieving a combination between the traditional linearity of the series, and modern freedom.
