Sleep is one of the most important parts of child development, but how much is enough?
The Pediatric Association recommends that children rest a minimum of 10 hours a day, although this figure is higher if we talk about preschool-age children.
Many children begin to have changes in their sleep patterns with the arrival of spring and summer, for example. The days begin to lengthen, the time changes and the activity they demand is greater than in winter.
And what about the arrival of the holidays, be it the summer or the winter, everything is out of control. The experts consider that it is normal that during this period we cannot follow and comply with the schedules. However, experts from the Sleep Institute advise that after a few first days of “freedom of time”, children return little by little to recover some sleep routines that will not only favor their rest, which will make them feel more secure and happy.
