Pay a lot of attention! Note that the program Solidarity Income It will not be operational in Colombia during the year 2023, as declared by the Government. Despite this, the national organization social prosperity has reported that it has started providing a special subsidy to beneficiaries of social programs since the end of last year, as part of the Shock Plan against Hunger. Details will be provided about the payments currently in progress, the requirements to receive them, and the corresponding payment dates.
According to an official statement, the National Government has managed to benefit almost two million households in Colombia through the Shock Plan against Hunger. This initiative was created to continue facing the economic difficulties caused by the coronavirus pandemic. As part of the measures adopted, an additional payment of 500,000 pesos is being granted throughout the Colombian territory.
The additional payment is being offered to those who are beneficiaries of social programs such as Solidarity Income, Youth in Action and Families in Action. However, it is crucial to keep in mind that there are certain requirements that must be met, which will be described in the following paragraphs. Zero Hunger 2023: how do you know if you access the benefit?
- Enter the website solidary income.prosperidadsocial.gov.co.
- Select the SIGN UP button located on the top right corner of the page.
- Log in to the Digital Citizen Authentication service using your ID number if you are already registered. If it is not, select REGISTER HERE in the TYPE OF ACCESS option to continue with the registration process.
- After registering, go back to the program website and log in again (steps 1, 2 and 3).
- Once inside the system, a window will be displayed with the information of the registered user. Verify the information and close the corresponding window.
- Select the CHECK TURNS AND BENEFICIARIES button. Next, a window will appear with relevant information about your household, such as its status and whether you are a beneficiary of the program, among other details.
Zero Hunger Bonus: Requirements to access the subsidy
- Belong to level A of the Sisbén IV socioeconomic classification system.
- Be a recipient of the Solidarity Income program and be classified in group A.
- Being a single mother and heading a household enrolled in the Familias en Acción program, and having dependent sons or daughters under the age of six.
- Being a single mother and heading a household that is a beneficiary of the Jóvenes en Acción program, and having dependent sons or daughters under the age of six.
When will Zero Hunger be delivered? Dates to receive the subsidy
- On December 7, the delivery of State subsidies (group A) began.
- As of December 7, the Solidarity Income benefit was delivered to the beneficiaries of group A of Sisbén IV who did not have a registered bank account.
- As of December 15, the same benefit began to be assigned to bank beneficiaries of group A of Sisbén IV.
- As of December 21, the delivery of the benefit began to the participants of the Jóvenes en Acción program who completed cycle 6 in 2022.
- Finally, as of December 26, the transfer began to be delivered to households participating in the Familias en Acción program, specifically to parents with children under 6 years of age.
