There is little more than a month for the new delivery of The Dark Pictures Anthology be among us and from Supermassive they are fueling the anticipation with more images of their new interactive horror story. And is that now House of Ashes shows 20 minutes of gameplay with director commentary emphasizing some of the characteristics of the video game, which will continue after its good reception in Man of Medan and Little Hope, as well as Until Dawn, the British studio’s debut feature that catapulted them to the front page of the media in 2015.
The video that you can find just above these lines comes directly from Bandai Namco’s official YouTube account in its North American section and contains 23 minutes of gameplay of House of Ashes with comments from Will Doyle, Game Director. In them we can see our protagonists, soldiers stationed in Iraq, who enter a complex of underground caves and who will soon realize that they are not alone and that a supernatural danger stalks them. Likewise, the new The Dark Pictures Anthology will recover classic elements of the franchise, such as collectibles that will give us additional information.

They will allow us to know more of the context of what surrounds us and will anticipate in a subtle and enigmatic way events that are about to happen (or not, depending on the decisions you make). As always, the fate of the characters is in our hands, including that of the character played by Ashley Tisdale (High School Musical; Hotel, Sweet Hotel). Remember that House of Ashes will arrive on October 22 to Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One and other platforms.
