The action figure company has presented a fantastic figure of the Zombie Hunter Spider-man from What if…?
In the recent trailer and poster for What If? We saw Zombie Hunter Spider-man in action, and while Steve Rogers was originally rumored to be under the mask, we’ve since found out that he’s Peter Parker (albeit without Tom Holland’s voice based on the cast list posted).
Regardless, there is a lot of intrigue surrounding the Zombie Hunter Spider-man, especially when he flies in Doctor Strange’s levitation cloak.
Now thanks to Hot Toys we have a more detailed idea of what the character will look like with a new action figure that makes it clear that this Spider-Man is dressed in a costume very similar to the one he uses in the Disney Parks. It’s most likely due to rights issues, but it’s cool to see the iconic superhero factor somehow in What If…?
“[La] 1/6 scale figure features a freshly crafted masked head sculpture with multiple interchangeable right eye pieces to create different combinations of expressions ”, it reads in the description. “A very posable figure body; Finely tailored Zombie Hunter Spider-Man suit following the classic blue and red color scheme with a burgundy levitation cape; multiple interchangeable hands for exclusive poses; assorted cobweb effect accessories and a dynamic figure stand ”.
This is a spectacular figure, and we will surely see more merchandise from What would happen if…? as we get closer to the series premiere on Disney + on August 11. And what you can see in this link if you want to try the Disney + service.
What would happen if…? Create a multiverse of endless possibilities populated by some fan favorite characters like Peggy Carter, T’Challa, Doctor Strange, Killmonger, Thor and more. The new series, directed by Bryan Andrews with AC Bradley as the main screenwriter, tells us what would happen if the well-known stories of the MCU took a different tack.
