The history
The case of a TV presenter in the United States, who was hospitalized after being unable to read fluently while on live, generated attention on social networks.
This is the case of the presenter Julie Chin, of the network KJRH, an affiliate of NBC in Tulsa, Oklahoma, who in full program live he began to slur his words and stumble when trying to start reading the teleprompter sentences.
“I’m sorry, something is going on with me this morning and I apologize to everyone… Let’s go ahead and send Meteorologist Annie Brown,” he said in the middle of the program.
Although Chin still didn’t know what was happening to her, she continued to apologize to him behind the camera.
“The last few days are still a bit of a mystery, but my doctors believe I had the start of a live stroke on Saturday morning. Some of you witnessed it firsthand, and I’m so sorry it happened,” the presenter clarified in a Sunday night post on her Facebook account.
Chin explained that the episode in her health came out of nowhere, since she felt fine before starting the program. However, over the course of several minutes during the newscast, she lost partial vision in one eye. A little later her hand and her arm went numb. Then, she knew she was in big trouble when her mouth didn’t speak the words that were right in front of her…
“If you were watching Saturday morning, you know how desperately I tried to move the show forward, but the words just wouldn’t come out,” he apologized.
In the publication, the presenter thanked her work team, “my co-workers recognized the emergency situation and called 911. Anne, Jordan, TJ and Kaden, I am very grateful for their quick action. I have always said that I work in the best team, and this is one more reason”.

As a warning call, the presenter also said that she underwent a series of tests at the hospital to determine the cause of her episode on the air.
“At this point, the doctors think I had the beginning of a stroke, but not a full stroke,” Chin revealed.
It is not the first time that a case like this has been recorded in full live programming, as there is the story of this Sunday in Mexico, where during a Multimedia program an electric shock caused an alleged heart attack in actor Carlos Bonavides, who, moments later , rejoined to point out that he faked it all and it was just a joke.
In that sense, these types of cases will always attract the attention of people, who now flock to social networks to share their opinion.
