Honor and Microsoft announced the start of a collaboration to develop devices and artificial intelligence together, this as part of the strategy of the Chinese manufacturer known as 1 + 8 + N which seeks to create a robust product ecosystem that benefits its consumers around the world.
“HONOR is committed to taking a consumer-centric approach and developing best-in-class products for our users,” said George Zhao, CEO of Honor. “We are confident that together, HONOR and Microsoft will be able to establish an interconnection between end devices and the ecology of all scenarios to create a new smart world for all,” he stressed.
Neither company has revealed exactly what kind of products they plan to create or when the first teams created between the two brands will hit the market.
What Honor did mention is that the new Honor MagicBook V 14 will be one of the first computers in the world to hit the market with Windows 11, an operating system that will be gradually deployed from October 5.
This computer will be officially presented on September 26.
The Chinese firm also announced that this partnership will allow it to integrate Microsoft’s AI and cloud computing technology into its products and services. In fact, they will be a fundamental part of your intelligent assistant known as YOYO.
In addition, they will work on exploring the integration of Windows and Android to improve the ecosystem experience between PC and smartphones.
