What to do if you are asked to work on a holiday?
Under current legislation, employees are not required to work on official holidays. However, it is important to note that some companies or employers may require your services due to the nature of your work. In such cases, the law establishes that you must receive a remuneration equivalent to twice the pay of a regular work day, as stipulated in article 73 of the Federal Labor Law.
When does the 2023 summer vacation start?
The SEP published the following message in the Official Gazette of the Federation: “The change consists in that the Intensive Continuing Training Workshop, without the presence of students, which was scheduled to take place from June 5 to 9, will take place on July 20, 21, 24, 25 and 26; that is, it is transferred to the end of the school year”.
In this way, the school year will end a week earlier than planned, it went from the last week of the month to July 19. As of this date, students in basic education will no longer have classes, therefore they will enjoy summer vacation. Regarding the delivery of tickets, it will be July 21 to 26so parents must pick up the grades on those dates.
