According to LFT, there are 7 official holidays in 2023, so they will not be working. There are also five bridges. You must be clear that some of these rest dates that fall during the week could be moved to the following Monday, to be used as a bridge. Do not waste more time and know the dates.
The public holidays are intended for workers to celebrate religious or civic festivities with flexibility, without compromising their job performance. We will also inform you about the provisions of the Federal Labor Law (LFT) in case you have to work on any of these days.
Do not forget that official holidays are important, since some workers must work on those dates and their payment can double or triple, depending on each case. On the other hand, these days also provide the opportunity to rest from the daily routine of work and enjoy a well-deserved break in that regard.

What to do if you are asked to work on a holiday?
The labor authorities in Mexico have reported that “workers are not required to work on their days off.” However, if an employee performs work on a holiday, the law stipulates that he must receive double remuneration for his services, in accordance with the provisions of article 73.
It is essential to highlight that this regulation is valid for both official and unofficial holidays. Consequently, employees have the right to receive fair compensation if they are required to work during these rest periods.
