A map as big as Ancient Greece.
Throughout these days it’s looking like Hogwarts Legacy is being the subject of all kinds of theoriesto the point that there are many who already they don’t expect to see familiar characters of Harry Potter in the title of Avalanche (because most of them are not even born), but they are looking for family relationships between some.
The latter is not something that is isolated, since the possible appearance of the ancestors of the Weasleys along with the relationship of one of the villains with a Death Eater from the times of Harry Potter have not been made to beg. However, there is something that, despite being relevant, has not been addressed: the size of this open world. And it seems that we already have the first signs.
Hogwarts Legacy would have an open world as big as Assassin’s Creed Odyssey
Under this premise, it must be said that Hogwarts Legacy does not only cover the school of Magic and Sorcery, but also, we can go to different locations that surround the castle where we will study and much beyond. To give an example of the latter, it has come to be seen the chambers of Gringottswhich are located in Diagon Alley in London.
In any case, it has recently been mentioned that Hogwarts Legacy would have a map equivalent to Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, the famous Ubisoft title that covers practically all of Ancient Greece, although, it must be said, making use of sea areas and the islands of this country. You can see the tweet stating this below:
#HogwartsLegacy map size is very large, IMHO similar to AC Odyssey
You can pin waypoints, use flying creatures to fast travel, explore villages, hidden areas and buildings, castles, secret caves, unlock ancient secrets, learn forgotten mysteries#LiveTheUnwritten Holiday 2022 pic.twitter.com/LAL3nPaFse

For all that said, we may apparently run out of Quiditch at Hogwarts Legacy, but certainly brooms will be very used in the gamesince traveling such a distance will require a lot of patience.
Also, it must be remembered that Hogwarts Legacy won’t be limited at launchwhich, except for last minute changes, will take place at the end of 2022, having versions of PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Nintendo Switch and PCalthough in relation to the hybrid console it must be said that it is not known if it will be a physical launch (it is most likely) or a cloud version.
