We are all looking forward to the new open world Harry Potter game, which is being developed by Avalanche Studios and was announced just over a year ago under the name of Hogwarts Legacy. Although the release date of this new title was scheduled for the end of 2021, but at the beginning of last year its release date was announced. delay to sometime in 2022– though that could now change again, as major rumors suggest Hogwarts Legacy could be pushed back to 2023.
As many of you know, just a few days ago the alleged launch window of this new and long-awaited open world RPG set in the magical world of Harry Potter during the 19th century, which would arrive in the fall of 2022, coinciding with the recent statements of the general manager of Warner Bros, Rachel Wakley. But as PlayStation insider and Sacred Symbols presenter Colin Moriarty has revealed, via comic book, Hogwarts Legacy could be delayed until 2023 due to different development problems.
Moriarty also reveals that he’s looking forward to the game, but based on what he’s heard back, Hogwarts Legacy needs a little more time in the oven, which is why it won’t be out in 2022. If this is true, it seems unlikely that WB Games can appear soon showing the assumption Hogwarts Legacy gameplay that has been rumoured.
