Those who were teenagers in the mid-90s or early 2000s will remember the iconic streetwear brand ‘No Fear’ (and its powerful two-color logo). Mark Simo, Brian Simo, Boris Said and Marty Moates created this brand in 1989 and made their designs part of the aesthetic imagination of skateboarders and the most alternative people of the moment.
The first line of ‘No Fear’ t-shirts included messages that defended the virtues of extreme sports and spoke of the lack of fear of death, saying “no” to laziness and disregard for the norms set by high officials. All this rebellion returns this fall from the hand of H&M, which has decided to team up with ‘No Fear’ to launch a collection of character streetwear where the garments are not lacking oversize, bold prints, vibrant colors and the brand’s popular logo.
The Swedish giant bets on a more feminine and contemporary look, To achieve this, it has had the help of the New York female skate collective ‘The Skate Kitchen’, who are co-creators and protagonists of the campaign.
