In 2022 we saw how Sanrio collaborated with this franchise to celebrate 30 years of its creation by turning the iconic characters of the Japanese company into Sailor Scouts.

But occasionally we see some amazing videos being shared that aim more for the older generation devoted to the kitty. Like this video where Kitty sings the original theme of Sailor Moon: Moonlight Densetsu.
The video is part of a curious series called Hello Kitty coverwhere the official voice of the kitten, Megumi Hayashibara, 56 years old, is dedicated to interpreting themes of all kinds that are relevant to Japanese popular culture.
In this case, it was the turn of the Naoko Takeuhci saga, producing an interesting impact with more than 116 thousand views a few days after its release on YouTube.
Hayashibara is an institution in the world of anime, participating in other productions such as Cowboy Bebop, Detective Conan and Pokémon.
“Interestingly” this cover was released on the same day as the release of Toei Company’s two-part film Sailor Moon Cosmos, which marks the conclusion of the current Sailor Moon remake.
