The new episode of secret invasion he puts his main character in check again. This time, a scene with Nick Fury’s wife is what is drawing many people’s attention. Does the former SHIELD director know who lives with him or not?
Attention: Below is SPOILERS from the second episode of secret invasion
At the beginning of this chapter, there is a flashback to 1955, where we meet a Skrull woman presenting Nick Fury with Gravik. Then we return to what happens after the fateful attack on Russia, in which something happened shocking.
After this event, Fury returns home to rest, defeated and without many of his allies supporting him. The camera is set in the kitchen of the house and we see the Skrull woman we previously met. At that, Fury walks in and sees her, but she’s already turned into her Priscilla’s wife. The episode doesn’t make it clear if the agent is aware of the alien’s double identity.
In an interview with Deadlinethe episode’s director, Ali Selim, spoke about this moment and about the decision not to give so many answers:
“In the script, he knows it. And when we shot it, it was interesting that he might not know it. In the end we edited it so that people wondered if he knew or not. I can’t say anything about his wife. The conversation in the lobby after the premiere the other night was: ‘Does he know she’s a Skrull? Or not?’ And I think either option works.”
However, the filmmaker acknowledges that it may be that, in the future, the question will be answered. This will allow to create more tension in the narrative, since it would mean that the enemies are very close. These were Selim’s words:
“I think his wife is a support and a complication, and I think there will be interesting things to learn about their relationship… going forward. But ultimately, that’s the personal question that he has to face in order for this to make sense to him.”
What will happen to Nick Fury’s wife? To know if he will realize the danger, he needs to continue to see secret invasionwhich premieres a new episode every Wednesday.

My favorite movies are Rocky and Back to the Future and obviously one day I’ll climb the “Philly Steps” and drive a DeLorean. Faithful believer that cinema is the best teleportation machine, and also that on the big screen we can all see ourselves represented.
