What has become clear, among many other things, is that, beyond the pandemic, there is a new consumer profile, and it is a trend that has been reinforcing for years, long before the health emergency.
In this way, Today, in an era of influencers and content creators, new audiences are learning about diverse shopping experiencesbeing the purchase of second-hand clothing or “paca” one of the most striking.
On TikTok, of course, there is an important variety of this type of creators, who go to flea markets, markets or bazaars in search of “jewels” to increase their closet.

Beyond the trend for this type of content -which does exist-, what stands out is the way in which, today, this type of video tends to connect very well with Internet users, especially with those who, before Above all, they are looking for a shopping experience that is different from the one they can have in a regular shopping center.
In fact, the same study conducted Global Data Y Thredup, reveals that Mexico is one of the countries that has most opted for this purchasing model, only below the United States. According to the survey, 50 percent of the people who were surveyed said they had bought at least one second-hand item in the past year.
The initiative, driven by young consumers, seems that it will continue to grow over the years, which could even have important consequences in the industry; however, in the end, what the consumer is looking for is to pay less for quality products.
