Following HBO’s oldest tradition of renewing series when they have barely aired a couple of episodes, the chain (which has a decision pending on ‘And Just Like That’) has granted season 2 for his latest comedy, ‘Somebody Somewhere’.
Premiering in mid-January (so three episodes have aired so far), the series follows a woman in her forties (Bridget Everett) as she tries to deal with loss and acceptance. Feeling out of place in your own home, you will find a group of people who will give new meaning to your life..
I have yet to talk to you at length about the series, but I can already tell you that right now it is an oasis of life. A good fiction that goes beyond being “happy place” in his exploration of the friendship that can be made beyond certain ages and the sense of belonging to a group or a community.
