Yesterday we received the medicine we needed. 343 Industries showed us for the first time in more than a year a good dose of Halo Infinite gameplay. The Master Chief seems to be completely fit to face his new adventure, but you have to put the magnifying glass on how the work has changed graphically.
Not only because the time span was long, but because the criticism against the footage was fierce last time. Halo Infinite demanded a graphic jump and The Bit Analyst has been in charge of putting the new sequences face to face with those already shown. This is the result.
The main improvements include lighting and textures. This can be seen especially in the armor of the Master Chief, which in 2020 sparkled without stains and is now considerably dirtier, worn and dark. It has also been used to make changes focused on the design of characters, such as the pilot himself who finds the protagonist floating in space.
In the animations section we can see that there have been differences, in the same way as in the map interface. Of course, the scenarios have been revised to offer an improved look. The drawing distance is much greater, being able to look without problems in the sequences in which aerial views or with great depth are provided.
Either way, Halo Infinite is on its way steadily until the release on December 8th. We can enjoy on Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S and PC, in addition to Xbox Game Pass. In January 2022 the last goodbye will be said to the online services of the Halo franchise on Xbox 360.
