The Hacienda de Cholul was one of the most important mansions for the state of Yucatan, since it was part of the henequen boom in the entity. However, today the building is said to be haunted. Here we bring you his story.
The structure is located to the east of the municipality of Merida, between the towns of Cholul and Sitpach. It is one of the oldest constructions in the state of which various legends are told.

Another legend tells that the old boss of the hacienda had a pact with the devil and that he liked to mistreat his employees. Although one day when after returning from a trip, the workers organized and killed him with machetes; When the boss died, a long red tail sprouted and from then on the horrors began to happen.
Nowadays, people come to the place to listen to the legends about ghosts in Mérida and to take photos of the facade.
