In 2019 DC Comics announced that they would produce a series focused on the Green Lantern Corporation, for which the actors Jeremy Irvine and Finn Wittrock, who will play Alan Scott and Guy Gardner, respectively, were brought to life.

Don’t Miss: The Green Lantern Series Has Found Its Guy Gardner
Through his Instagram account, Finn Wittrock updated the status of the series, which is still in the pre-production process.
“I’m sworn to secrecy, and especially since I’m new to the DCU, I don’t want to get kicked out of the universe! But I can tell you that the script is great and I’m starting to get into Guy Gardner shape!”.
As SMASH reported to you weeks ago, Seth Grahame-Smith, showrunner for the show, gave a sneak peek at what’s already in the works for the Green Lantern series.
“The program is gigantic… It’s taken me a long time to get to this point and it’s a big, big commitment. It goes very well. All I can say is it’s going really well and there will be Green Lanterns in it, and it’s going to be on HBO Max.”.
What will we see in Green Lantern?
Green Lantern reimagines the classic DC property through a story that spans decades and galaxies, beginning on Earth in 1941 with the first Green Lantern, secretly gay FBI agent Alan Scott, and 1984, with cocky alpha male Guy Gardner. and half alien Bree Jarta.
They will be joined by a host of other Lanterns, from comic book favorites to never-before-seen heroes.
The series will feature the adventures of a multitude of members of the Green Lantern Corps, including Guy Gardner, Jessica Cruz, Simon Baz, Kilowog, and Alan Scott, Earth’s first Green Lantern.
Geoff Johns will be the executive producer of Green Lantern, in addition to writing some chapters.
Green Lantern will arrive in 2022 on digital platforms.
