This Thursday, February 9, Óscar Becerra, Minister of Education, appointed Guido Flores Marchán as the new president of the Peruvian Institute of Sportafter the departure of Juan Carlos Chavarry, who submitted his irrevocable resignation to the presidency of the IPD on Thursday, February 8, 2023.
According to Supreme Resolution No. 005-2023-MINEDU, published in the Official Gazette El Peruano, Guido Flores will be the head of the highest sports governing body in the country. As recalled, Flores Marchan is a graduate of the National University of Enrique Guzmán y Valle, where he works as a decent.
“It is resolved to designate Mr. Guido Flores Marchan in the position of president of the Peruvian Sports Institute. This supreme resolution will be endorsed by the Minister of Education, register, communicate and publish”, reads the document.
