He Guaranteed Minimum Income (IMG) is an assistance program designed to provide support to thousands of households in poverty and vulnerability in Bogotá, Colombia. The responsibility for delivering the monthly resources falls on the District Secretariat of Social Integration (SDIS) (SDIS), which especially prioritizes households led by women, who currently constitute 88% of the program’s beneficiaries. Altogether, more than 260 thousand households will have the opportunity to access this subsidy. The amounts of the payments will vary, ranging between 300 thousand pesos and 740,000 pesos, depending on the particular situation of each family. To financially support this program, the district administration has allocated a total budget of 45 billion pesos.
The funds corresponding to September have already been delivered to the Ministry of Finance. Payments will be effective once the process of renewing agreements with financial institutions has been completed, which will ensure the continuity of transfers for the rest of the year. Requirements for the Guaranteed Minimum Income
People who wish to opt for this subsidy must meet various requirements to be eligible for the transfer of funds:
- Be registered in the Sisbén of Bogotá. You can verify your registration at this link: https://portal.sisben.gov.co/Paginas/consulta-tu-grupo.html
- Be classified in groups A or B of Sisbén IV.
- Not receive assistance from National Government transfer programs, such as ‘Families in Action,’ ‘Jóvenes en Acción,’ ‘Colombia Mayor,’ or ‘Transit to Citizen Income.’
- Have an active account in one of the financial entities that have an agreement with the District Treasury Secretariat, such as Daviplata, Nequi, Bancolombia a la Mano, Movii, Powwi or Dale. Although it is not a mandatory requirement to have a bank account, it is recommended that all beneficiaries have at least one of these mobile applications.

When is the Guaranteed Minimum Income payment delivered in September?
The District has announced that payments for the month of September are now underway. Originally, they were scheduled to begin on September 28, but the entity has announced that the transfers will begin this Friday, September 29. These payments will be made gradually, and beneficiaries will be notified via text messages.
How to carry out the Sisbén survey to update data?
Families that have not yet registered in Sisbén IV have two options to take the survey:
- Virtual Option: They must access the website of the District Planning Secretariat, www.sdp.gov.co, and click on the ‘Sisbén’ button. Alternatively, you can access directly through the link http://sisbensol.sdp.gov.co/registro-solicitudes.
