Rockstar created one of the most profitable entertainment products in all of human history. GTA V was and still is a great phenomenon in the industry. For obvious reasons, the excitement of all players for the arrival of the next GTA VI is understandable, and they were afraid that this installment would postpone its launch window. Nevertheless, GTA VI won’t be held back by recent leaks, claims Rockstar in his recent statement clarifying the situation.
GTA VI won’t be held back by recent leaks, claims Rockstar
In the statement posted on its social media, the company said it was ‘extremely disappointed‘ for game details shared in this way, and stated that the leak would not delay the project. Several YouTube videos have currently been removed at the request of Take-Two, confirming the legitimacy of the substantial leak. Take-Two has also reportedly ordered two of the largest online Grand Theft Auto communities to remove any links to GTA VI footage.
The leaked version apparently confirms the earlier report that the next GTA would take place in Vice City. Bloomberg reported earlier this year that the game, which it claims began development sometime in 2014, is out and that we’d see the final version of the game in stores at least two years from now.
