In great news for the entire Rocket League gaming community, San Diego video game developer Psyonix, in collaboration with artist GRIMES, announced a new in-game event called “Neon Nights” starting in Rocket League on January 26 on all platforms.
Something that we find quite remarkable is that “Neon Nights” is the first in-game event to be themed around a female musical artist and will include new Event Challenges with GRIMES-themed items, the return of a Limited Time Mode, and Golden Moons.
So that you are well informed, you can take a look at all the surprises that await us in this in-game event. Know the content you will find in “Neon Nights”:
- New Event Challenges – Players will be able to complete new event challenges to unlock items such as the Player Anthems “Player of Games” and “Shinigami Eyes” (“Shinigami Eyes” is a new song by GRIMES that will be available on January 26), the Ornaments “ GRIMES-themed Gravitator” and “Space Queen”, “Braided” Trail, “GRIMES” Decal, “GRIMES” Wheels, “GRIMES” Player Sign, “Fireworks (Multichrome)” Universal Decal, and Accelerator “Uncanny”.
- Return of Heatseeker Ricochet – The limited-time chaotic Heatseeker Ricochet mode will be available during the event.
- Golden Moons – Players can earn Golden Moons to unlock items from the Impact, Nitro, and Overdrive series.
During the event, Rocket League will also celebrate the Lunar New Year with the free Year of the Tiger bundle. The bundle can be claimed in the Item Shop and includes the “Tiny Tiger” Ornament and “Tyger” decal. “Neon Nights” will be available in Rocket League from January 26 to February 8.
