Have you ever dreamed of exploring the Moon? Now, thanks to The Lunar Light: Discovery, you can experience this wonderful phenomenon as if you were an astronaut. This immersive experience transports you to the year 2055, after an asteroid impact at the lunar south pole, and allows you to explore the lunar surface like never before.
Created by Back to Space, a nonprofit organization that promotes space education, The Lunar Light: Discovery is a mix of interactive theater and virtual simulation that takes you on an unforgettable space adventure. Throughout the experience, which lasts about an hour, participants prepare for the space mission, donning a spacesuit and learning about the tools and skills they will need to explore the Moon.
Then, they embark on a virtual adventure on the lunar surface, where they can explore craters, mountains and other lunar landscapes, in addition to overcoming some challenges that will test their ingenuity and ability to work as a team.

“We want people to feel like they’re really on the moon,” says Danielle Roosa. “We want them to experience the excitement and challenge of space exploration and be inspired to learn more about our universe.”
