Google, the American technological ‘giant’, reported that the economic impact of its products in Mexico reached more than 266,000 million pesos in 2022among these tools are Ads, AdSense, Android, Google Play, YouTube, Google Cloud and more.
The figure reflects the multinational’s ability to support Mexico’s economy, promote the digitalization of SMEs, promote culture and show the scope that AI has to address social problems.
According to a study carried out by the international consultancy Access Partnershipthe 266,000 million pesos exceed the economic impact of Google products in 2021 by 111,000 million pesos, when 155,000 million pesos were generated.

In 2022 there was no comparable record, since the methodology to obtain these figures was different, in addition to the fact that this time additional elements that contribute to the performance of the companies were considered, as detailed by managers.
The company highlighted Android, which creates around 167,000 direct and indirect jobs in the country; the tool Google Cloudwhich obtained economic benefits of 1,700 million pesos for the organizations and Google Workspacewhich boosted profits of 98,000 million pesos.
