Google prepares to take drastic measures delete millions of inactive Gmail and Drive accounts starting this December 1st.
This action will affect accounts that have remained inactive for two years or moreputting at risk the loss of valuable data stored on Drive, Photos, YouTube, Calendar, Google Docs, among others.

How to save my Google account?
To reactivate your account before the mass purge, all you need to do is Sign in and take at least one action on the account.
For example, send or read an email, upload a file to Google Drive, watch a video on YouTube, search on Google or even download an app. Any action is valid to inform Google that it is not an abandoned account.
It is important to note that this deletion policy will apply only to personal accounts and will not affect those set up through work, educational institutions or other organizations.
How do I know if my Gmail account is in danger?
According to what was reported, Google will notify users about the inactivity of their accounts using two methods: an email notification will be sent to the inactive google account and also to the recovery email.
If you have forgotten the password, it can be recover following a verification process and complying with Gmail security conditions.
