Google will have this Wednesday, May 10, your I/O event for developers, the annual convention where he presents his innovations and bets. The focus for 2023 is on the Artificial intelligence.
It is the center of the technological planet and Alphabet, parent company of Google, does not want to be left out of the race.
According to CNBC, There are three main projects of the company for Artificial Intelligence that will be seen at the I/O. We will show them below.
PaLM 2, a new Large Language Model (LLM) from Google
The language model Palm 2 includes more than 100 languages, and has been operating under the code name Unified Language Model. In addition, according to the information portal, a wide range of coding and mathematics tests were carried out, as well as creative writing tests and analysis.
This model had been announced in April 2022, and in March of this year Google launched an API for PaLM along with AI business tools. The goal is for companies to “generate text, images, code, videos, audio and more from simple indications in natural language”.
Bard, the Artificial Intelligence chatbot
Although the launch of Bard was made exclusively and experimentally since March for the United States and the United Kingdom, it is the turn to expand the borders. The ChatGPT (OpenAI) competition will help “people reach their full potential”, supported by “generative experiences”.
According to CNBC, Google has been working on a series of more powerful Bard models.
More features for your programs
Bringing Artificial Intelligence to the Workspace is another of the projects that Google will present at its I/O. In this case, highlight generating templates in Sheets and generating images in its Slides and Meet products.
For example: in a chat box of one of those applications appears an option to enter text and create an image based on the words.
This will all become official this Wednesday, at the Google event for developers.
