Google Photos has become the best photo gallery app and has almost relegated Quickpic, which held that position, to the background, and more after it was finally sold. An image gallery that has exclusive virtues and that has served as a source of inspiration for Apple and will include some of its functionalities in its own gallery app for iOS.
Version 1.24 has been with us for a few hours now, after receiving another update 3 weeks ago, and we cannot say that it is the one with many new features, but it really brings us some details to mention how it is a cropping tool with better options and more variety to order the albums we have of photographs. You can download the APK if you have not yet received the update from the Google Play Store.
Regarding the crop tool enhancements, the buttons to move to the bottom have been relocated and the slider to rotate the image has been improved. What is really new is a button to the left of that slider that is responsible for opening a series of options for different types of format in the frame, which will allow us to maintain the same aspect ratio while reducing the capture taken.
With regard to albums in Google Photos, a new feature can be found in the menu that emerges from the album itself, which is itself a new command to change the way in which the photographs are classified. Until now, the only option was to switch between “recently added” and “default mode”. What is expected is that the possibility of changing between a good variety of modes is included, since the current two are those that can be modified from manual mode.
