Gmail is the first tool to report server crashes.
Users find message where they should see their mail.
It takes up to a minute for some website pages to load.
Gmail, Google’s messaging application, has reported failures that, although they have not yet displayed the “Error 502” that warns of a global server crash, at least they did trigger a slow and paused service among Internet users, making them doubt your contracted internet service.
Unsent emails and files waiting to be opened – with times from 30 seconds to a minute – and the famous “Whoa! An error has occurred…” are some of the screenshots thrown by the application of the most used server in the world.
Little by little, users wonder if all of Google will have connectivity problems and, even, if it is their network that is to blame for their messages not arriving on time; however, Merca 2.0 found that other tech giant tools such as YouTube, Google Maps and Chrome recovered faster.
This, after DownDetector reported a peak of complaints as of 4:38 p.m. corresponding to internet users who were unable to access their messaging services. 77 percent of reports were for website loading, while another 11 percent were for account login and a further 11 percent for mobile app usage.
Although it is not known what happened, this week warnings were issued about a possible cyber attack derived from the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine, but there is nothing confirmed by the company.
It was from 5:00 p.m. that users of social networks began to explode due to the failures; For some, only Gmail did not work well and for others, the YouTube service caused conflict.
Despite the complaints, so far Google has not commented, so it is not known how long the connectivity problem can last.
