“For example, these insights could tell you that the cheapest time to book similar trips is typically two months before departure, and you’re currently in that sweet spot.”, said Google in a blog.
“Or you might learn that prices have typically gone down closer to takeoff, so you decide to wait before booking. Either way, you can make that decision with greater confidence.”
To help with this, heTravelers can turn on Google Flights price tracking to receive automatic notifications when fares drop significantly at their chosen destination and dates.
Users will be notified by emailas long as they are registered with Google.
If not tied to any specific date, users can activate “any date” to receive emails about offers at any time during the next three to six months. If you see a rainbow “price guaranteed” badge on certain flights, it means Google trusts the fare won’t drop.

However, if you book and that specific flight goes down, the tech titan will pay you the difference.
“When you book one of these flights, we will check the price every day before takeoff and if the price goes down, we will refund the difference via Google Pay”explains the blog.
