The application Google Home already allows you to invite new members into its “virtual home”, so they can control the smart accessories through their devices. But BigG is about to add a new feature to add more precise control of what users and devices they can control.
For some users, in fact, a new screen is available, accessible from the settings and clicking on “Household”, which, although not fully functional, will allow in the future to see, in addition to those who are all the members of the house, also a summary of the accessories they have access to. At the moment all are referred to as “Manager”, but it will then be possible to specify roles and permissions for each user.
This feature appears to be in a fairly advanced state of development and we hope it will be activated with a server-side update from Google, without having to wait for the next Google I / O conference.
