Google has finally decided to launch Fuchsia OS in all its glory. Today has been the designated day for the new operating system to reach all Google Nest Hubs.
Fuchsia OS has been mentioned for several years for no other purpose than to raise questions. Google commented that this operating system would reach their devices and at first it was believed that it would replace Android as we know it.
We are all wrong to think this and, is that Google had other plans for this operating system. The Mountain View plans were to implement this new operating system on their smart devices Google Nest Hub.
This same year in May we saw the first pill of this new operating system. Fuchsia landed a harmless dose on the first Google Nest Hub, users didn’t notice the change as everything remained largely intact.
All of this has changed today. Google has released Fuchsia OS for all Google Nest Hub devices and has done so without notice. The main novelties of this new operating system are not clear at the moment.
The only unstable thing is what this new operating system means for Google as it is not based on Linux. The update, having been released globally, is available for all Google Nest Hubs.
In principle, all you have to do to check that your device has the update pending is the following: first, You have to go to the Google Home application from your mobile and after that select the connected device.
Once you have selected the Google Nest Hub, your thing is to go to the settings section and once inside check the version that is installed. The most likely thing is that the device shows that it has a pending update.
In the event that it does not show a pending update, what could lead to the appearance of the notification is to turn off and on the device again. At the moment the only thing left is to wait until you know all the supposed advantages that will come with Fuchsia OS.
