Google has patented a design for a new tablet and has raised all the alarms, they have begun to create renders of the device and the design would be unconventional.
The tablet arena seems to be dominated by Apple. Android tablets do not end up winning due to their price, lack of updates and, also, because the operating system does not manage to squeeze the largest screen diagonal.
By not being able to take advantage of these types of issues, we find that iPads beat almost any tablet on Android by a landslide, although it will always depend on the price range and what a user looks for in this type of device.
Google could have the answer to this question and the latest leaks would suggest that they would have a tablet in their hands. What has been seen is that the Mountain View have decided to patent a design for tablets.
The design they have patented is really striking and could be the future of Android tablets or the return of Google to this sector. The first thing that we see and that draws our attention are the frames of the screen.
The frames of the tablet that has been rendered by LetsGoDigital are really reduced. This type of design is far from what we have seen to date and, is that, normally a certain frame is needed for its use is comfortable.
The rear would have two different textures, the exterior would be more rubbery and the central one would be smooth and with a glossy finish. This interior would have the Google logo, in addition to the name of the device. In the renders you can see the spaces for the speakers.
The renders of the device are very curious and, in addition, they could put a starting point for tablets on Android. Of course, for the moment it is an element in the collective imagination and not a real device.
We will have to wait to know if Google converts this patent on a real device. It would be very interesting if those from Mountain View returned to this field, although they would need an adapted version of Android.
